We recently relocated from Wellington to Auckland and my family stopped over in Napier for 2 days on the way. My kids loved the National Aquarium. We stayed at Kennedy Park where the kids spent a lot of their time. I would love to come back and stay a bit longer next time because there are still a lot of things we could have done and places we could have seen if we were not in a hurry. My boys are still talking about our stay there and they keep telling us they would love to come back and they love Napier.

Congratulations Anneke Kersley
Congratulations Anneke Kersley - winner of our WIN a trip to Napier Competition! A big thank you to everyone who entered here on our website. Check out all the entries here.
Anneke's photo and description (Entry no 35) was about Mangatainoka Hot Springs near Te Puia Hut, she says "Mangatainoka Hot Springs near Te Puia Hut in the Kawekas is a fantastic place to take friends and family. You can choose to stay in the hut or tent right beside the hot pools! You can take a dip in the cold Mohaka River and then jump into the lovely warm hot pool! We organised a group of friends from all over the North Island to come and share this amazing place with us.
We look forward to hearing more from Anneke and her prize winning experience.
Hawkes Bay Wine & Food Festival
Given the abundance of events in Hawke's Bay during January and February, along with economic factors, the organisers have decided not to hold an event in January 2012.
Following two challenging years in a centralized venue and the huge impact of negative weather on the event at the Roys Hill venue, the organisers of the Hawke's Bay Wine & Food Festival have been working with industry partners and sponsors to repackage an event for the future.

At Napier i-SITE you've found the people who are in the know when it comes to what's happening in Hawke's Bay.
Looking for a place to stay? Want to know where to take the kids for dinner? Keen to find out about our gorgeous
Art Deco buildings? Need local insight on the best of the wineries that our region has to offer? Then you've come to the
right place!
